Photoacoustic, fluorescence and microendoscopy microscopy

fibremultimode.jpg

Optical imaging allows the observation of tissues at the micrometer scale. Beyond conventional optical imaging, it is possible to obtain more specific contrasts by using fluorescent molecules or photoacoustic effects. Different innovative methods are studied in order to open new ways in non-invasive or minimally invasive imaging.

  • Photoacoustic and fluorescence microendoscopy through multimode fibers (E. BOSSY)
  • Photoacoustic microscopy in the frequency domain with optical resolution, imaging of micro-vascularization (O. HUGON, O. JACQUIN, E. LACOT)
