Neuron stimulation and imaging technologies for pharmaceutical research

We develop devices for multisite electrical stimulation of brain slices particularly designed for drug screening and selection in pharmaceutical research. Within a project funded by “CNRS Innovation” and leading to a patent, we are working to translate our achievements into products that will be delivered to industry. The devices are specifically designed to be coupled with voltage and calcium imaging approaches enabling unprecedented characterization of effects of potential therapeutic agents on brain activity.
