Numerous fields linked to human activities and the environment, whether for medical diagnosis, healthcare, environmental monitoring or food quality, require the development of tools with very high sensitivity, selectivity and specificity. To achieve this, we have invented a biological sequence selector. This device will be capable of recovering the best sequences (or antibodies or peptides) to act as target-specific bioreceptors. This selector will make it possible to recover sensitive, selective and target-specific biomolecules more quickly and efficiently than current techniques such as phage display. The use of sequence selectors could be generalized to targets of different natures (pathogens, proteins, DNA, chemical compounds, etc.) in connection with multiple applications.
