Discover the scientific process around the theme of complex fluids or acoustics
From simple and visual experiments illustrating the remarkable properties of matter, the public is invited to meet researchers in an approach based on several objectives:
- Complex fluids: what are they, how do they differ from simple liquids and solids, how are their properties highlighted, by what experiments can they be measured and how are they explained?
- Acoustics: what is sound made of and how does it interact with matter?
- The researcher's approach to a phenomenon: formulation of an interesting question, choice of the measurement to be made and the experiment to be carried out, critical analysis of the results and conclusion.
- The discovery of a laboratory and research jobs.
The format of the activities can range from a simple visit with a demonstration (30 minutes) to the realization of workshops in small groups over a period ranging from a few hours to a full day.
